Here is the sequence of the SDLC Design Phase, Developing Phase, and Testing Phase and Last but not the least Production Phase. Let’s talk about these four most important phases of the Software Development Life Cycle in detail one by one.
In this article I am going to discuss about the Designing, Developing, Testing and Deploy Phases. After deployment in the production we start preparing about the public launch to promote the features and properties and usability of the products by business partners.
3) Testing Phase:- After the developing phase we are in the testing phase to test all the changes done in the database for this given project. If we are testing something with the care then we will have so many bugs to fix before going into production environment. If we cannot fix it up then it will break so many things in the production. This is not desirable as per the business perspective. We have to be very careful while testing the processes and procedure in testing environment. If we missed something about the developing the processes and procedure then we can catch them in the testing environment. We can save the time and cost, which is more expensive and important for us for the well working of the design for the particular problems. In the testing phase we are going to test all the different scenarios and cases of failure.
4) Production Phase:- We are in the last but not the least stage of the life cycle of the software developing technologies and techniques as well. This is the last phase of the life cycle. If we have already tested the developed stuff in the testing environment then we are good to go into production. But if we have missed something about the coding and developing it, then we have to be onsite to handle all the issues. After testing we are responsible for supporting all the issue in production right way. Otherwise it will cost us lot of money and time as well.
5) Post Production Phase:- Now we are done with the design, developing, testing and also got deployed into the production. Then we are ready to go for the public launch of the product in the market. There is always two types of launces and these are known as Pilot launch and Full Fledge launch. In the pilot launch we are giving the opportunities to our customers to get a close look of our products in the market. Then we start doing some of the changes if required into the product and services before we will go for the Full Launch.
It was a great story about the Life Cycle of the Software Development. We need to understand this cycle to get full control on the projects. If we are well known about these phases then we will miss something in between the phase and which will cost us too much. We will the miss opportunity for well-planned and well approached procedure for the success of the products and services.
Thanks to everyone for reading this article. Please send us the comments on this article for the better performance and ease of handling it and launching it into the market.
