What do you mean by SQL-Server Reporting Service (SSRS)? How many different types of reporting formats are available in the SSRS and can you describe something on reports in the SSRS?

SQL-Server Reporting Service (SSRS) is one of the Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Transact SQL, SQL-Server Integrating Service and SQL-Server Analysis Service provided by the certified company like Microsoft. SSRS is a very good ready-to-use tools and service for providing the benefits for creating, deploying and managing all those reports after creating and deploying for our company and organization. SSRS is also useful tool for extension and customization of the reporting functionality, as programming tool.
SSRS is a server based reporting tool which provide us the easy functionality for creating, deploying and managing the reports generated from the different sources. It is a very advance tools for creating, managing and delivering the reports. API’s are very useful in integrating or extending data and report processing in customized applications. It is the integrated part of the SQL Server tools and components, which works on the Microsoft Visual Studio (MS-Visual Studio).

We can get the following benefits from the SSRS. We can create the data visualized, including charts, maps and spark lines.

There is more interesting things about the reports is that we can publish reports, schedule reporting processing and also we can access them later on demand. Moreover we can also create reports from the variety of views formats. We can also exports them into other applications like Microsoft Excel and subscribe to publish the reports.

We can view there reports through the Web Based Connections, Microsoft Windows Applications and SharePoint sites.

We can also create the data alerts on the reports are going to publish to a SharePoint sites and we can also receive the messages when there is any change in the reporting data.

Now we have a new advance tool, called Power view, for reporting service for creating an interactive data exploration, visualization and very nice presentation of the reporting services in new edition of the SQL- Server 2012.

Power View, a very new feature of the SQL Server Reporting Service package 2012 add in for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Enterprise Edition, is an interactive data exploration, visualization and presentation. Power View provides reporting for the business user, business decision makers and also for the workers for more information. Power View is a Browser Based Silverlight Application, which is launched by the SharePoint Server 2010, which is useful for present and share insights with the others in the very meaningful presentations.

SQL Server 2012 Reporting Service is a very useful tool which provides the highly recommended solution for enhancing the decision making power of the business people. It provides the data exploration and visualization for the Pixel-perfect printing and browser based views.
