What are the names of different modules of the SQL-Server? What is SSRS in the SQL Server?

SQL Server is having the four different modules like Transact-SQL (T-SQL); SQL-Server Integration Service(SSIS), SQL-Server Reporting Service(SSRS), SQL-Server Analysis Service(SSAS). Every single module is having their own importance in the SQL Server. SSRS is also a very effective tool among the other three modules. SQL-Server Reporting Service (SSRS) is a Server Based Report Generation Software. SSRS is the certified tool for reporting service by Microsoft. SSRS is a feature in the SQL- Server product. We are using this tool for Designing, Developing, Testing, Deploying and Managing the Security of the reports on the server for analysis, business decisions and customization of the views of the reports. BIDS, which is known as Business Intelligence Development Studio, is using this multi-purpose tool for creating the reports, deploying the reports and managing the reports for data exploration and visualization of the presentable data in the reports of the varieties of the formats.
SQL-Server Reporting Service (SSRS) is one of the Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Transact SQL, SQL-Server Integrating Service and SQL-Server Analysis Service provided by the certified company like Microsoft. SSRS is a very good ready-to-use tools and service for providing the benefits for creating, deploying and managing all those reports after creating and deploying for our company and organization. SSRS is also useful tool for extension and customization of the reporting functionality, as programming tool.

Here are some of the basic steps to follow for designing, developing, testing deploying and creating the secure environment for the reporting services:-

1) We require all the Reporting Services Tools and Components for creating, deploying and managing the reports for accessing the same on demands. If we are very well know about the tools for designing, developing, testing and deploying on the reporting server, then it will be easy to create and manage the customized reports for the high level business decisions.
2) If we don’t have the Reporting Service on our system, then we should install Reporting Services
3) We can also use the Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) for creating, deploying and managing the reports.
4) We must have the installed Sample Database for the Reporting System. We can play around the sample data to create the meaningful reports.
5) At the first time we can create a Simple Report with the Wizard. We should know the wizard for reporting service.
6) We can also create a Simple Report with the Report Designer. We can also create the complex reports if we are aware of the simple reporting.
7) We can deploy reports on the share point after creating in the reporting service. We can share the reports within the organization through the SharePoint server.
8) We must provide the attention towards the Configuring Report Manager Security. If our data and reports are secure enough then we are good to go.

We can get the following benefits from the SSRS. We can create the data visualized, including charts, maps and spark lines.

I know we are new in the reporting services for creating and deploying and also managing the reports in the SSRS. But once you start trying on the tool you will definitely get the idea about “How will you design, develop, test and deploy the reports on the SSRS?” I don’t have much experience in the reporting service so far but I have the confidence that I can easily make it to learn and explore it for more knowledge and experience on the reporting services.
